Fascinators from the artist Sweet Head are one of the ranges we carry that can be odered. This doesn't mean they are of any less appeal as they are still individually hand made, and can be customized on request. (info coming soon) The designs are also so unique, being made by only the one artist in the world located in Dalls, Fort Worth, US, the chances of being caught out at an event with someone else wearing the same one is very slim. We do not stop a high quantity of each design, preferring to preserve their uniquness.

• Feathers used in the creation of any products we source are naturally moulted and legally obtained. We do NOT support sources that obtain feathers from any other method. Items of this nature will never be available in m2mCollections. As they are naturally moulted, depending on the type of bird species the feathers come from, there may be times where long waitiing periods are experienced while waiting for the next moulting season. Also once these feathers are collected, they are then carefully inspected and chosen only when meet the highest level of quality.
• If a product states it is able to be ordered yet shows out of stock, please ask us how long before new stock arrives, as these items DO move quickly. We can hold backorder items for you if you contact us in time. We do reserve a nominal amount to offer in our store, so backordering is also limited by this.

A fascinator is a headpiece, a style of millinery. The word originally referred to a fine, lacy head covering akin to a shawl and made from wool or lace. The term had fallen almost into disuse by the 1970s.
In the early 21st century, the term has made a comeback, but the meaning has slightly changed; it is now used to describe a delicate, slightly-to-very frivolous head decoration worn almost exclusively by women. A fascinator may be worn instead of a hat to occasions where hats were traditionally worn—such as weddings—or as an evening accessory, when it may be called a cocktail hat. It is generally worn with fairly formal attire.

Modern fascinators are commonly made with feathers, flowers and/or beads. They attach to the hair by a comb, headband or clip. They are particularly popular at premium horse-racing events, such as the Grand National and the Melbourne Cup. Brides may choose to wear them as an alternative to a bridal veil or hat, particularly if their gowns are non-traditional.
They may be quite expensive to buy from established millinery designers.

Cocktail hats are small, extravagant hats for women. They are usually worn as evening wear and are intended as a alternative to the large brimmed women's hats. These hats are often decorated with beads, jewels and/or feathers. Veils are also a common feature of cocktail hats. They are closely related to fascinators, which are extravagant hairpieces worn on the side of the head.
